Application and Enrollment Process
Application Process:

To complete the application, you will need a valid email address, and the following:
- Proof of our your identity (such as a driver’s license, passport, or other government-issued ID).
Deadline: The application will remain open until October 31, 2024 at 11:59pm. Only one application per person will be accepted. Submission of more than one application will result in disqualification from the selection process.
Enrollment Process:
- Upon submission, applicants will receive an email acknowledging receipt of their application.
- Applications will undergo an initial screening for completeness and eligibility.
- All eligible and complete applications will enter a lottery for an enrollment interview. Randomly selected candidates will receive an email acknowledgement and instructions for scheduling their intake appointment.
- Candidates will meet with the Black Mothers Blooming Coordinator to complete an intake interview to verify identity and eligibility, screen for impact on public benefits if applicable, orient to the Piedmont Housing Alliance Financial Opportunity Center and other program offerings, give consent for program participation and evaluation, and document financial information for gift payment. Applicants may choose to accept or decline the gift at this stage.
- Candidates who are not selected in the lottery will receive an email notification.
